From our Home to Yours

I wish I could send all my cyber friends a personal Christmas Card, but since that it just impossible I will share it with you here! So have a Very Merry Christmas, from the Hillman Family!

This year I went with a photo card, because I had these amazing beautiful family portraits my dear friend, Tara, took for me at my sisters wedding last month. I made the card myself in photoshop using two freebie downlaods from (a girls gotta love free!). The canvas was made 4"x8", since I was unable to find a local place to print this size on a blank card (there's lots of really great pre-made photo card templates out there these days) I merged 3 cards onto a 8x12 canvas and had prints made at Costco. You still have to cut them apart, and buy your own envelopes, but hey, at least I can say my card this year was semi-homemade!

Your family is so cute!
Oh and here's a little tip, the Nampa Costco let's you do your own design and they will print it up the same size as their cards and you get their price and envelopes. I don't know if the Boise one does or not. It's all a matter of whether or not the Manager will allow it. I got lucky and my Costco here in CO will do the same! I became instant buddies with the photo manager! :)
